love the simple link bracelets at the bottom. Can you tell me more about the found steel?

The steel is called 'ladder rebar', and is used in masonry work to reinforce concrete block. It's got a nice little texture on it that shows up on the small spirals and hearts. The guy we bought our house from is a builder, and left a bunch of it in our shed. I always use scrap when I can, but if I run out of scrap, I have to buy it. Old hardware cloth works well too, but doesn't have the texture. I love to scavenge junk yards and construction sites :-)

Sounds lovely, rebar is awesome stuff. I love seeing industrial material like that being used and become unrecognizable.I will keep these bracelets in mind. Cheers!
